Anaesthetic gas scavenging systems (AGSS) shall be a dedicated, specifically designed active extraction and disposal system for waste anesthetic gas and other potentially harmful gases, play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment within operating rooms and other medical facilities where anesthesia is administered.
The primary function of the AGSS plant is to collect waste anesthetic gases that are exhaled by patients or released during procedures and safely redirect them away from the operating room environment. It utilizes vacuum pumps or suction systems to create negative pressure within the scavenging system, effectively drawing waste gases away from the patient and into the collection system.
AGSS plant equipped with LCD panel, monitors the signal from the sensor to ensure that scavenging systems are functioning properly and that waste gas levels remain within safe limits, and provide alarm system to alert personnel to any malfunctions or leaks, key information can be displayed on the control panel.
AGSS are seamlessly integrated with anesthesia delivery systems, compatibility with various anesthesia equipment ensures smooth operation and optimal performance of the entire system.
