Within the framework of the oxygen station construction project, created with the support of Metinvest Company and Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, two modern automated oxygen stations with the volume of 2000 liters required for treatment of patients with COVID-19 and two stationary atmospheric vaporizers of 100 Nm3/h each were delivered, as well as commissioning works were performed at the “Pokrovskaya Clinical Intensive Care Hospital” KNP of Pokrovsk City Council of Donetsk region.
Application of the new system allows centralized supply of medical oxygen to the beds of the covid and other departments of the Pokrovsky Clinical Intensive Care Hospital, increase the number of oxygen points, refuse from cylinder equipment and thus save money. Previously, the hospital spent UAH 1.5-2 million per month buying oxygen cylinders, each weighing 70 kg. They were unloaded and loaded by 6 teams of technicians. The new oxygen station allowed to reduce costs five times.
The oxygen station greatly facilitates the work of doctors. Now, thanks to the automated oxygen supply system, there is no need to monitor its flow and pressure in the network. Oxygen, which is supplied uninterruptedly and around the clock, helps localize the disease, contributes to the speedy recovery of patients, and saves lives.
