At the request of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih, the project "on a turn-key basis", namely: design, supply, installation and commissioning of cryogenic equipment for storage, gasification and distribution of liquid argon, with subsequent supply to electric steelmaking furnaces in order to perform a continuous blowdown of the melt with argon has been fulfilled.
The scope of supply included the following cryogenic and gas equipment:
- cryogenic storage tank for liquid argon, V - 6100 l, Pop - 18.5 bar;
- atmospheric vaporizer, Q - 200 m3/h, Pop - 40 bar;
- dome pressure regulator with back-pressure valve;
- a set of equipment for automation of the monitoring process of the level of cryoproducts in a tank and dosing gaseous argon gas into steelmaking furnaces.
