The development of a test bench for repair and inspection of high-pressure cylinders SOB-40 R (СОБ-40 Р) has been completed. The first two test benches has been produced and well-tried. During process of benches manufacture our designers pursued the goal to simplify the design of the product, increase its functionality and application in order to reduce its final cost, to ensure availability in the Ukrainian market and short payback period of the equipment.
Main advantages and functions of the SOB-40 R bench for cylinders inspection is the possibility of working with standard cylinders for all types of technical gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon dioxide, neon, krypton, propane-butane, welding and food mixtures) of various volumes (10 l, 20 l, 40 l, 50 l) and pressures.
The bench for cylinders inspection SOB-40 R provides the following operations:
- unscrewing (screwing) of the valve with a certain torque;
- visual inspection of the outer and inner surfaces of the cylinder;
- weighing of an empty cylinder and a cylinder filled with water (as an option)
- unscrewing (screwing) of testing adapter with a specified torque;
- hydrotest for strength (pressure source - LP pump).
