The project on reconstruction of liquid argon storage and supply system at PJSC ArcelorMittal Krivoi Rog has successfully been implemented.
Reconstruction works were executed in two stages:
First stage: project works, namely elaboration of design specifications and estimates, approval by the customer and local authorities, receipt of positive state expert appraisal.
Second stage: supply of a set of necessary equipment, as well as execution of construction, installation and commissioning works.
This project envisages the construction of a system for storage and gasification of liquid argon based on the following equipment of European origin:
- Cryogenic stationary vessel, model SCS-50 000/18.5 with a hydraulic capacity of 50 000 l by Taylor-Wharton s.r.o (Slovakia).
- Production atmospheric vaporizer, type CNLP 4×4×3500 S with a capacity of 500 m3/h by CRYONORM BV (the Netherlands);
- Cryogenic stationary pump unit based on a centrifugal cryogenic pump type СBS 185/177/3-5.7 C/8 by CRYOSTAR S.A.S (France), complete with fixed frame (SKID) and a control cabinet.
- Cryogenic pipeline with screen-vacuum insulation manufactured by CRYOSPAIN S.L. (Spain).
