In June 2017 our company successfully implemented the project on reconstruction of liquid argon storage and supply system at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.
The reconstruction works were carried out in two phases:
Within the first phase design works were performed, namely, the development of design and estimate documentation, its approval by the Customer and local authorities and also the positive findings of State expert appraisal were obtained.
Within the second phase a set of the necessary equipment was supplied and construction, installation and commissioning works were performed.
The project provided for the construction of a liquid argon storage and vaporization system on the basis of the following European-made equipment:
- Stationary cryogenic tank, model SCS-50 000/18.5 with the hydraulic volume of 50 000 l, manufactured by Taylor-Wharton s.r.o. (Slovakia).
- Ambient air vaporizer, type CNLP 4×4×3500 S with the capacity of 380 m3/h, manufactured by CRYONORM BV (The Netherlands);
- Cryogenic stationery pumping unit on the basis of the cryogenic centrifugal pump, type GBS 185/177/3-5.7 C/8, manufactured by CRYOSTAR S.A.S (France), complete with a stationary frame (SKID) and a control cabinet.
- Screen-vacuum insulated cryogenic piping, manufactured by CRYOSPAIN S. L. (Spain).
