DS series for the safe transport of material in cryogenic nitrogen
The aluminum containers of the DS series are cryogenic freezer containers specially designed for the transport of biogenic material in liquid nitrogen. The special material inside the container absorbs the liquid nitrogen and allows safe transport without the risk of spilling, while the valuable material remains safely cooled at the lowest possible temperature. The containers of the DS series can easily be transported on all routes, even by plane.
The vacuum-insulated, double-walled aluminum containers are therefore ideally suited for use in medical institutes, biological laboratories, institutes for artificial insemination and pharmaceutical facilities.

Since the containers are open to the atmosphere, they are NOT pressure tanks according to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 EG.
The transport of the filled containers on public roads and railways is only permitted according to the requirements of the current GGVSEB/ADR/RID.
The containers are not intended for applications with patient contact and may only be operated and serviced by trained personnel.
