Centrifugal cryogenic pumps GBS
Centrifugal stationary cryogenic pumps GBS are designed for liquid products pumping under a pressure of up to 28 bar. The design of the pumps provides protection from heat inleak.
Peculiarities of GBS cryogenic pumps:
- Front opening of housing: easy and reliable replacement of mechanical seal without the need for readjustment of the run-out.
- Composite mechanical seal (4 times longer life time than carbon seals). For CO2 application: special high pressure mechanical seal; for a long life application - gas tight seal.
- Нigh hydraulic efficiency of pump impeller.
- Helical inducer allows low required NPSH.
- Splash lubricated gearbox with oxygen compatible oil
- Helicoidal gearwheels for low noise level.
- Pump support with 3 bearings: 2 for radial thrust and 1 for radial and axial thrust.
Heat inleak protection:
- pump volute is connected to the electric motor by means of a spacer with four hollow connecting links;
- hollow shaft minimizes heat transfer to the shaft;
- thick plate with low thermal conductivity.
Optional equipment:
- switch for differential pressure (protection against "dry" mode);
- temperature probe during cooling;
- leakage temperature detector;
- gear and sealing purging;
- fully assembled unit.
