Centrifugal cryogenic pumps CBS
Stationary or road tanker mounted CBS cryogenic pumps are used for liquid cryogenic products pumping under pressure of up to 50 bar.
Peculiarities of CBS centrifugal cryogenic pumps:
- Front opening of housing which ensures easy and reliable replacement of mechanical seal without the need for readjustment of the run-out.
- Composite mechanical seal (4 times longer life time than carbon seals), for CO2 application: special high pressure mechanical seal, for long life application: gas seal.
- High hydraulic efficiency closed impeller.
- Helical inducer allowing low required NPSH.
- Splash lubricated gearbox with oxygen compatible oil.
- Helicoidal gearwheels for low noise level.
- Pump support with 3 bearings: 2 for radial thrust and 1 for radial and axial thrust.
Heat inleak protection:
- pump volute is connected to the electric motor by means of a spacer with four hollow connecting links;
- hollow shaft minimizes heat transfer to the shaft;
- thick plate with low thermal conductivity.
Additional equipment:
- pressure drop switch (dry run protection);
- cooling temperature sensor;
- temperature leak indicator;
- seal and reducer blowdown;
- fully assembled cryogenic pump unit on a stationary SKID frame;
- electrical control panel with frequency control of the drive or soft start.
Supplied complete with a set of spare parts for pump maintenance.
